What is a robot-ready control system?

The Haeger -5 control system is a machine control system with an integrated field bus solution that enables communication with robots or an automation system. The new feature provides easy integration and full control of specific machine functionality across your entire automation line and it is available for:

• 824MSPe
• 824WT
• 824OT

Improve productivity and quality control

The refined single control platform is designed to improve reliability and to be flexible for further value-added features in the future. Two expansion modules are available to further improve productivity and quality control:

1. Robot lower tool holder with part alignment feedback: The sensor-added anvil provides the feedback to the robot for quick and easy setup and continuous process optimization.
2. Fastener removal system: The incorrect fastener length will be removed from the system.

Flexible communication protocols

Robot or automation integration is available through all industry-standard field bus protocols for I/O data transfer:

• DeviceNet
• EtherCAT
• PROFIBUS
• PROFINET
• Modbus

Secure Linux operating system

Linux-based operating system and software package provides stability and unmatched security features for all of your fastener installation applications. Emergency stop/cell interlock is also integrated into the machine for the highest security standards.
