Tappex Trisert-3 Threaded inserts

Now available in stainless steel (303/316) M12 and in a corrosion-resistant titanium version
The family of self-tapping Tappex Trisert-3 threaded inserts for use in light metals and plastics has grown.
In the corrosion-resistant stainless steel versions (303/316) in addition to the sizes M3 to M10, for the first time there is now an M12 size available in lengths of 13.5 mm, 18.0 mm and 20.0 mm.
For even more demanding requirements in lightweight construction and resistance to corrosion, such as in aggressive and damaging environmental conditions, the newly-developed Tappex Trisert-3 threaded inserts in titanium provide the optimum solution. The material used in grade 5 titanium, which is characterised by high tensile strength, lightness and extremely high resistance to corrosion. On account of these properties, the use of titanium Trisert-3 is recommended in particularly harsh environments such as offshore, maritime or chemical, weight-critical applications in aeronautics and space travel, as well as in medicine due to how well it is tolerated.
Currently, thread sizes M5 and M6 are already available in two lengths. Work is progressing on extending the range from M4 to M8, also in two lengths.
The new Trisert-3 titanium threaded inserts and the stainless steel variety in M12 also have all the advantages of the Trisert-3 range: speedy, symmetrical installation process based on corresponding cutting geometry, reversible and precise nut threads in the appropriate material, full-length and free-running internal thread, increased surface contact area and improve tear-out resistance/performance.
